Real numbers from our Q1 OCE duo bookings: solo-queue baseline averages 12-15 ranked wins per division-step in Gold-Plat brackets, with a 47-53% win-rate. Duo with a Gold-tier booster (Ascendant-rank) lifts that win-rate to 68-74%, which compresses the same division step from 12-15 games to 5-7 games. In practical terms: Plat 2 → Diamond 1 in solo queue is 3-5 weeks for the typical AU evening-only player. Same range in duo is 4-7 days with 3-5 sessions per week at AUD$15-18/match.
Riot caps duo partners by rank gap to keep matchmaking integrity. From Iron 1 to Ascendant 1, you can duo with someone up to 3 full ranks above you. So Gold 3 can duo with a Diamond 3 booster (Verified or Gold tier). From Ascendant 2 to Immortal 1, the gap tightens to ~2 ranks; from Immortal 2 up the gap is narrower again. Above Immortal 3 Riot disables most ranked duo combinations entirely — Radiant we sell only as Master-tier scrim sessions or POA coaching. The booster tier you can pick on /order is filtered by your current rank to enforce this automatically; you'll never see a tier offered that Riot would block at the engine.
OCE servers physically sit in Sydney (Riot's AWS Sydney region). For AU NBN residential: NSW/VIC/ACT/QLD sit sub-50ms typically, WA sits 60-90ms typically, NZ residential sits 35-55ms. Boosters are filtered for the same OCE cluster — we don't schedule SEA-region boosters into your queue without your written consent, that's a /safe-boosting policy. If you're seeing >100ms in solo, mention it on intake and we'll flag VIC/NSW boosters only.
AEST/AEDT evenings 7-11pm are peak — most boosters are AU/NZ residents on the same evening rhythm as you. We run a thinner pool 23:00-07:00 local with a +AUD$3/match late-night surcharge to keep boosters fresh. Weekend midday slots (Sat/Sun 10am-2pm AEST) are the second-best window. Intake form asks for your top 3 preferred slots and we calendar-lock 5-7 days ahead. AEST/AEDT switching is handled automatically; no zone confusion.
Drop a message in Discord #support before booking your next session — no email ticket, no friction. Voice-fit mismatch is the #1 reason for a swap and we don't push back. Mandarin-preferred, English-preferred, soft-spoken, drill-sergeant, agent-pool clash, time-zone clash are all valid reasons. The buy-10-get-1-free credit transfers across booster swaps within the same tier. Unused matches refund pro-rata to your original payment method (Stripe / PayID / WeChat Pay AU / Alipay).
Sometimes. SEA (Singapore) sits 90-130ms typical for WA residents and 110-180ms for east-coast AU on NBN. OCE Sydney is sub-100ms for nearly all AU. For Perth specifically, SEA can be only 20-30ms worse than OCE while having a much deeper player pool at off-peak hours. We do offer SEA duo with written consent but default everyone to OCE first. Mention it on /order if you want SEA evaluated.
Duo is real ranked matches where you and the booster queue together with stakes on the line — RR moves, MMR moves, the lobby is real ranked. Coaching is unranked: VOD review, custom-game drills, deathmatch warm-ups, theory whiteboard. Coaching starts at AUD$55/hr Verified-tier and runs to AUD$140/hr Pro tier; see /coaches. Most clients run a Gold-tier duo subscription with one Master-tier coaching VOD session per month — duo for ranked velocity, coaching for habit correction.
